War is an action section detailing Artyom's near-solitary journey to Polis through the Nazi and Communist frontlines. In this section, Khan reveals much more of the mythology and the supernatural phenomena of the metro universe, including his insight and beliefs as to what the ghosts or anomalies truly are. This relatively lengthy section also includes the first time Artyom travels to the surface, since its nuclear annihilation.Ĭhapter 3 outlines the time Artyom spends with the wandering mystic, Khan. Prologue begins the game with an action sequence, describing the events between the later levels "Separation" and "Tower" as well as setting up the introduction as to who Artyom, Hunter, and the dark ones are, what Exhibition's peril is. Inside, you will find some rare spear ammo, a moral point (for checking on the corpses) and a Helsing spear gun. Note that when you first enter the poisoned section of the station, you can turn left and go into the high-security office. There's very little in the poisoned area to hold your attention, so you will want to smash and grab, and then split as fast as you can. When you head in, the exit is a dusty, rubble filled hallway leading to a safe area of the station (you can remove the mask). The presence of a gas mask on the corpse is an indication you'll need breathing assistance within five seconds of walking into the second half of the station. You proceed to the end of the station past this security airlock in the center of the station's mid-section. Loot the bodies and all supplies there is another moral point for visiting both of the stairwells inside the first area of the platform (simply go up and touch the ends of each stair-residence). The next moral point in the level (the first was from colelcting the audio tape) is this corpse with the Revolver with Rifle Stock near the security station past the entrance. Note that this station is a warzone, and not a safe zone any match grade ammo you find will not count for Sherlock. Loot the rest of the guard station (bodies and weapons and all) before heading into Hole Station. Take the audio tape he offers for a moral point and start a new side mission that you can complete two levels later. Use them now if things get nasty, and stay in sight of your remaining allies using the emplaced weapons.Īfter the battle, locate the dying station commander and let him speak. However, you should have plenty of automatic weapon or revolver ammo, not to mention a few bombs you may not be using. ![]() Use the column in the room to run circles around the nosalises - this is definitely not a good time to use the Uboyneg or the knife (the Duplet is better). Take the ammo from their bodies and weapons, then turn around and get ready for a nasty fight.
